Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Welcome to Svaggy. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Svaggy is operated by the relevant Svaggy entity for your country (listed at the bottom of these Terms and at svaggy.fi/legal). References to "Svaggy", "we", "us" or "our" mean that entity.
2. Scope of service
We operate an online food and grocery delivery marketplace. When you place an order, you contract directly with the restaurant or store ("Merchant") for the goods, and with us or a third-party courier for the delivery. We are not the seller of the goods.
3. Ordering and payment
- Prices shown include applicable VAT. Delivery fees and any service charges are shown before you confirm.
- Payment is taken at the time of order using the payment method you have selected.
- We use Stripe as our payment processor. Your card details are held by Stripe under their PCI-DSS certification — we never store raw card numbers.
- All prices are in the local currency of your country (EUR for Finland).
4. Cancellations and refunds
Merchants begin preparing your order promptly after confirmation. Cancellation may not be possible once preparation has started. For information about refunds due to missing or incorrect items, visit our Help → Refund policy page.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- provide false information when registering or ordering;
- use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform;
- create multiple accounts to abuse promotions.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for the quality, safety, or accuracy of goods sold by Merchants.
- Our liability to you for any claim arising from a single order is capped at the value of that order.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
Consumer rights under applicable Finnish, EU, or Czech law are not affected by these Terms.
